Awesome but too tight Apr 19, 2012

Listen up Marines,

I bought these for my special patriotic lady friend, just like you are about to. There's lots of confusion over the sizing on these things. They are way too slim for the sizing on the label, so here's my experience and take for the pair I purchased for my girlfriend...

She is a MEDIUM in 75% of her Victoria's Secret underwear. She is 5' 4", 34C, slim and athletic but with shapely hips. Size 4 or 6 in most of her other clothes (depending on brand). Based on the reviews I found here, I went with an XL so they would be comfortable for lounging and pajamas. They fit, but the fit falls more into the category of intimate/sexy wear. XXL was better for the comfortable, lounging fit she wanted, but was still "flattering" enough for me to enjoy watching her do yoga in them. I got her a Large in the matching tank top, and it was right the first time.

These were an adorable purchase! Shipping was fast and I can't wait to show them to my boyfriend! My only worry/complaint is that they run small. they fit me but I really got the equivilent of a lrg not an xl

Great quality but runs considerably TOO SMALL! I wear a 4/6 and an XL is unflatteringly tight on me. The production company needs to correct their sizing issues asap!

These red Marines Booty camp shorts are terrific. I bought several pairs for my girlfriend to wear when we do our daily Primal Movement. She loves them. I also ordered the matching tops. Same top quality material and workmanship. I'm going to buy several more just in case they quit making them.

I had some difficulty getting these but I think it was more of an issue with weekend/holiday stuff and not so much the seller. However, they do run small but the bigger issue for me is the lettering actually say's "marine booty" on them, not "marines booty". I don't think my marine boyfriend even noticed but I did and didn't want to bother with returning them. Just fyi.
