Not Very Good At All Feb 19, 2010
By C. Cannon
"rebound"
I had relatively high hopes about this Pea Coat when I ordered it based on the reviews
but unfortunately I was very disappointed. This jacket should have been too big in size for me and it is in some places, but the shoulder and sleeve size is disproportionate to the rest of the jacket. The sleeves are VERY narrow and quite uncomfortable. The whole
jacket seems to be off balance. The upper section of the jacket seems very small and the bottom seems much larger than it should be relative to the top section. I am an average
size person, average weight and proportions. When I tried the jacket on and stretched my
arms out a small bit to see where the sleeves hit my wrists (they were too long by the
way) I actually heard something inside the coat rip. I am assuming the lining, though in
my eventual frustration I didn't bother to check after I threw it in my closet.
While trying it on I noticed massive amounts of black fibers all over me, the floor,
my bed where I had laid the coat to unbutton it and even my dog who was standing by me watching the whole episode quite comically. I have tried everything I know to get the
fibers on the coat "calmed down" but it has been to no avail. So now, rather than fibers
falling off the coat I have gobs of fibers falling off of it. I came back to Amazon to
find out how to return it but don't see that option so I decided to write this review
since I guess in the end I spent $70 plus for basically nothing.

Ultra Force Pea Coat a BIG HIT at Christmas Jan 31, 2010
By Patricia Giannakis I looked at about 100 Pea coats on-line and in stores with prices ranging from 30 dollars to $200.00+ and the Ultra Force Pea Coat Women's Black Medium was the perfect choice. My grand daughter was very tickled with the choice. It fit her perfectly, came in at the waist so as to not look "boxy", had a quilted lining, buttons all had and anchor carved into them (something I was looking for) and was the only one I saw with epaulets on each shoulder. My grand-daughter came up from college at South Carolina, opened the gift, put the coat on and wore it every time she went out for the whole Christmas vacation. She said and showed that it was perfect and she loved it. Her reaction was, of course, my reward.

"I love this jacket" Feb 17, 2010
By Mrs. Dunlap So I just got my coat in the mail today and I am very pleased. It got here in a week. I love the detail on the buttons and the fact that it is durable and well made for the price, is definitely a plus. I was worried it may look cheap because of the price but once I took it out of the packaging I was very pleased. It looks just as good or better than the more expensive peacoats that i have come across. Very well lined and nice deep pockets. I work in an office setting so I wanted something that would look great with my dress attire. I highly recommend this jacket. I cant wait to wear it. I am sure i will get lots of compliments.
You get what you pay for! Mar 23, 2011
By Claudia There are a few good things about the coat. It is warm, very warm and has very nice buttons. However it is poorly made and mine smell like petroleum, that didn't go away even after I air-out for a long time . It shed so much too, that all that I wore under it had a black residue. I tried using a coat brush to remove all the lint but it was impossible to remove it all. Sadly I returned it. The company was very gracious about it and gave me back my money. It was too bad it didn't work out, it wasn't kind of cute.
