Description:

Vintage parka is made from cotton, with removable hood with fur collar. Insulated with heavy weight poly fiber fill interior. Features waist drawcord, four large metal buttons on front of coat with button loops, zipper with storm flap, and knit wrist cuffs. Pockets include 4 front pockets (two front slash pocket with 2 hidden snaps on each and 2 inset lower pockets with flaps - one hidden snap on each flap), zippered utility pocket with pen pockets on left arm with red Rothco label, and inner cell phone pocket with snap closure.

I wanted a coat like I had in the Air Force and this one is very close.
I am 65 years old and the cold weather gets to me a lot more than when I was young.
This coat will keep me warm and the hood is big enough that the wind will not hit me in the face.

The jacket is nice and warm even when you are covered head to toe with snow. I found that when in a blizzard you tend to get covered, do to the insulating value of jacket. The only problem i have is that the heavy duty zipper sometimes get cought.

My husband and I recently took a trip to Anchorage Alaska. While there, the weather was as low as 10 degrees. And, since we were staying on the base, we spent a lot of time either walking or riding shuttles. The whole time, we were perfectly comfortable, in spite of the fact that we spent a lot of time outside, in the weather.

This coat is amazing it is soo warm i have to say i love the fact that this comes in cotton the rothco jacket is amazing. i would definately recomend this jacket to others looking to buy a really nice coat that wil keep you warm in the winter.

this is nice and warm I live in wisconsin and spend a lot of time outdoors its comfortable and very warm as well as huge. I normaly wear a xl and could have gone with a lrg but guess now i have extra room for layering if needed but nice work on this parka.
