Durable pants, holey pockets May 13, 2011
By Trek M. I really like these pants, I've ordered them in desert camo, urban camo and black. They are very loose fitting making them easy to move in while still being light weight. I have pairs for job, and for normal wear. The material is a bit thin, but there is a double layer over the knees and over the years I've had them I've yet to wear a hole into the exterior of the pants. The numerous pockets are large enough to carry what you need which is especially useful for work if you have a lot of items you need to carry and frequently have access to. The roomy pockets make it easy to get to those items, but are deep enough for you not to lose items as you move about. The pockets on the legs and the back all have double buttons attached to a flap if need be to contain your items or if you are not using those pockets as well. All of the pants come in weird sizes, mainly because of how they are designed. There are synches on either side of the waist to secure your size, and the legs are intentionally made longer as they are designed to be tide off at the ankles and hang loosely around the top of your shoes. (You won't have an issue with walking on the hems so no worries). The reason I gave this 4/5 stars is because the front pockets are really thin, so it is easy to wear a hole in them compared to anywhere else on the pants. Over time if you frequently carry bulky items in them (like your keys) you'll wear the material thin enough that they begin to fall apart in the wash. I suppose this is a minor problem as really this has only happened to one pair of my work pants that I use pretty heavily, but as I bought these for their durability this is a fault in my opinion. The pants will shrink a bit, but it is only noticeable on the flaps that hang over the pockets. I haven't noticed any notable shrinkage around the hems where it is sewn together. The 3 sizes I know for sure are X-Small Regular (Waist 23"-27" US) Small Regular (Waist 27"-31" US) Medium Regular (31"-35"? US) as I can't read the last number on the tag for the Medium. Normally I wear a size 29-30 and so the Mediums I can still wear, but they are baggy at the waist except for when fully synched. I couldn't wear the X-Small at all, so for me the Small Regulars were the perfect fit. Keep in mind that length is always in excess anyway, so your correct waist size is going to match your length regardless of your height unless you are well above 6', in which case just get the long.
Overall I like these pants and continue to buy them. They're durable, light, loose, and the camo designs are lasting. These work well for me. (The urban camo just looks awesome!)

By Chance Delafosse These pants are great!! Just like the old school, but with additional pockets on the calf. If your lookin for some great pants to wear overseas or around the house, these are it. Just make sure you follow the washing directions on them or they can turn pink.
