Roxio Easy Media Creator Suite 10 Old Version Apr 14, 2010
I Have Windows 7. The old Version dose not work with windows 7. Thay do not tell you this.And OEM are no return. Do not buy.

Try another product unless you have money to burn Dec 26, 2009
I've been a loyal Roxio fan for years now. Easy Media Creator v 10 is my 3rd upgrade. Unfortunately, they no longer support the product. I have been wasting time trying to solve a problem with the VideoWave portion of the software using photos & movies. No matter what I've tried, the movie comes out looking like someone tossed a stack of photos on the screen - - there are multiple edges of prior scenes showing throughout the movie making for a distracting mess.
After wasting hours working with this version I'm ready to move on to a non-Roxio product.

This software sucks. It is confusing, inefficient and unnecessarily cumbersome. It advertizes being able to edit AVCHD which was blatant false advertising. That was my primary reason for buying it, and it would not recognize the HD file type from my Canon HG10 camcorder. When I contacted tech support about the AVCHD issue, they told me I would need to get Roxio 2009 to do that, even though I had just bought Creator 10 at Best Buy a week earlier (total waste of $100). Additionally, it would not recognize my music CD projects that were left over from Roxio 6, so that was a pain. I had to make them all over again. It did not recognize those file types, either. Crappily, it made me remove Roxio 6 from my computer before Creator 10 would download. It can't seem to burn a copy of a burned music CD. It gives an error every time, but ruins the disc so it can't be used again (I wasn't using RW). When I made a slideshow of photos and videos in the Videowave program, I then learned that I cannot make a chapter selection menu in that program, I needed to make it in "My DVD" to be able to do that, but I couldn't transfer the slideshow to the My DVD program, so I just wasted days worth of work for a subpar DVD. They could have made all of this a lot easier to use. Roxio sucks, their tech support is useless and they deserve to go out of business. This the last piece of Roxio software I will ever own. My advice is to look elsewhere for your software needs.
