(almost all) natural backpack Aug 03, 2010
By Light Pebble I got it mostly because it's almost all natural materials - cotton. There are a couple of plastic zippers and some plastic buckles, but that's all. It's capacious, but since it's just cloth, it collapses into a small space if it's not full. It's simply made, that's nice because if some little thing breaks you might be able to fix it easily with a sewing machine. No liner, two pockets. And it's washable. I love it, and love the camouflage pattern too. One disadvantage, it's completely un-waterproof.

Rothco Canvas Day Backpack Feb 12, 2008

This is the classic back pack,,,just the right size to carry your gear whether walking or biking.
Simple in design and 100% canvas with sturdy straps. I like the black or olive green, the camouflage is tacky.

Great design but canvas is a little weak May 01, 2012
By Scott Whittington I really like the design simple and not to large or small. I would compare it with the standard school backpack as far as size. The cotton canvas isn't the same as the tough military molle type so I don't expect it to last forever. Another important point to make is the lack of back padding. Not a huge deal but you can feel any irregular objects on your back.

Canvas Day Pack Packed with Awesome Feb 20, 2011
By Andrew Kim Awesome product. On the smaller size so it's comfortable enough to carry with you whether you're schlepping across the concrete jungle or rugged terrains. Big enough to fit in most of your junk without looking like you're heading off to war.
Simplicity is awesome! Apr 12, 2012
By Shiva A simple sturdy canvas backpack that can pack quite a big load. The max capacity was a UPS express box, a lunch box, 2 files and regular sized book in the main chamber. The front flaps had quite a lot of things in it like wallet, cig packs, headphone case, 2 small rx bottles.. The shoulder straps have just enough cushion to keep its rugged looks and give some comfort to the shoulder. The handle on the backside thats used for picking the bag up is also canvas but harder so sometimes it sticks into the back/spine. No biggie coz i just flip it away and it stays away. Top flap has a zip. The bag tightens by a thick string with sliders (all canvas). Only weak point (or maybe my fault) was that- i was in a hurry few weeks ago and yanked the strings hard to close the bag. A small metal rivet tore out of the canvas. That doesnt seem to make any difference yet. All in all im using this as the daily work bag and i love the way it looks. ps-it also reminds me of early school. where i went to school in late 80's, these were very popular.
