"Drunk Cracker"
First off like the other reviewer, I had a World War II era belt, but it started to fall apart (60 years isn't too bad). I got this one expect something of similar quality, but it's about half as thick and the buckle isn't near as nice. This was going to be my hunting belt, but I think i'll give it to my hipster sister.

I ordered this belt to be used to hold up my tool pouch and multimeter but the quality is nothing compared to my dads real WWII web belt. I don't know of any government that would supply their soldiers with this light duty, cheaply made, Taiwanese piece of crap; I have a very hard time believing this is a "Genuine" Military Pistol Belt.
I'm going to trust my tools with my dads 1940s era U.S. military web belt, I recommend going to a local military surplus store and actually feel the belt before you buy it.

This Web/Pistol belt is the same type I wore in the Air Force in the 70's. The quality is not the same but then this is not a military issue belt. The belt itself is thick, well sewn and heavy. The grommets are lined up well and none were out of round like on some cheaper belts. The buckle(s) however are it's weak point. They are thin and light weight but strong enough to hold up to average wear-and-tear.
Considering the price, and depending what you want it for, it's not a bad belt.
