The MIGHTY BRIGHT XTRAFLEX DUET SUPER LED MUSIC STAND LIGHT by The Sugar Bear In LA Sep 01, 2010 I am very, very happy with the Might Brite Duet Super LED Music Stand Light. I have been performing for quite a number of years in places that require lighting. I have used many types of music stand lights. In the old days all of the lights in an orchestra pit or on stage required electricity (still used quite a bit) & a lot of extension cords all over the place. Electrical outlets are not always close or they are needed by the sound engineer or players using electrical instrments. Elextricity can become a premium commodity at the gig. A great advantage with this light, it is battery operated.(A big plus) This light is vevy small. Easily transported which makes it easy to keep in most all types of instrument cases. I will probably start buying a few to keep in my brasswinds, woodwinds, keyboards & guitar cases.(1 less thing to forget on the gig). The light clips on the stand with 1 clip (top or bottom of stand) You can seperate the 2 lights. It is so flexible that it adjusts easily. You can bend the neck easily & will not droop like some lights that uses screws & bolts.(Does anybody have a wrench, pair of plyers, screw driver or dime?) The LED puts out a nice soft but bright light. I purchased online at Amazon & got the best low price.
Some more light Aug 31, 2010 Purchased four of these lights for my string quartet. We were performing on an island on the coast of Maine and knew from past experience that lighting would be an issue since there is no electricity there. The building we played in was quite dark, and while these lights were helpful, we could have used a lot more light. I liked the flexibility of the antenna, and the clip stayed on the metal stands without a problem. More powerful lights, and it would be perfect.
Good light Jul 19, 2010 This dual clip on light works very good for my needs which is illuminating music in dark situations. If you remember to turn off the lights, the battery lasts for 6 or more hours.
Little item. BIG light Apr 22, 2010 This is a wonderful item for lighting pages on a music stand. I have a couple of music friends with stand lights that are bulky to pack away, require extension cords and get awfully hot. I have none of those problems. My friends are jealous!
Very good and helpful light. Apr 17, 2010 Very good and helpful light.
Doesn't produce glare - and is easy to turn on - the two lights and the flexible cord ensures BOTH sides of your music are lit up! Awesome!
