Excellent Backpack, worth every penny. May 04, 2011
By Vladimir I saw this backpack, and didn't see any reviews, and decided the pic looked good enough to make me risk it. I've been needing a new backpack for a while now to hold my bug-out-bag contents, ever since my old duffel bag just finally was too worn out to function.
Where to start, where to start....
The bag came in perfect condition, and arrived on time. The MOLLE loops are certainly up to my standards and hold multiple pouches, a knife, and 3 glowsticks very securely. The stitching on the bag is very tough, and simply impressive. When I unzipped the main pocket, the experience was very crisp and clean, and the zippers were of just beastly heavy duty construction. They won't fail you any time soon. The main pockets expand nicely and can hold a surprising amount of equipment. One of the most impressive aspects of this backpack is that it holds its shape very well. Most backpacks, once loaded, sag down onto your ass and bounce when you run, but not this one. It's very rigid, and feels almost like it has an exoskeleton, though it obviously doesn't.
The straps are very well padded, and coupled with an extremely heavy duty integrated into the backpack, this thing stays firmly planted on your back. It seems compatible with tactical vests and belts when adjusted accordingly. The backpack straps also have one buckle to connect them together, to prevent slipping. Though I haven't tested this myself, it seems like it'd be compatible with hydration bladders of multiple sizes.
The overall construction of this backpack is very solid, and I'm very happy I bought it. I suggest it to all of my friends and fellow survivalists.

Good Sturdy Pack, Over-sized Straps Aug 29, 2011
By SurvivingOnOwn Made of good sturdy material and the zippers are strong and durable. My only complaint are the sternum and waist straps which are FAR over-sized for any regular civilian operation. My 285 pound mate had just enough room between the waist strap buckle and the padding to make it tight enough to provide any kind of weight distribution (me being 150 pounds soaking wet, I can wrap it around and buckle it behind me at full extension if my clothing isn't heavy). Also, because of the huge strap the backpack becomes clumsy when waist strap is not being used and this dragging on the floor. The sternum strap is also over-sized, but can be rigged easily to fit smaller individuals. It may fit better when wearing more gear, so if this is your aim (or your north of 250 pounds) these straps should work fine.
Besides the strap issues this is a strong, durable, simple, spacious backpack with lots of properly spaced molle webbing. Not crazy about the hydration bladder hole in the top (but it will work). I'm happy with my purchase overall (since I will be doing some modification on the straps).

Great Backpack Jun 21, 2011
By Alexander May The pack is very simple and sturdy. It doesn't have any internal pockets apart from what might be a large sleeve in the main compartment that might fit a laptop, but I am still very happy with my purchase!

Gets The Job Done Jan 12, 2012
By Angelo I decided to take a chance on this one. It's reasonably priced, simple, and good quality. The waist strap is pointless unless you're big and fat. I was never going to use it anyways so I just cut it off. Camelbak makes a water bottle holder attachment that goes well with it. Other than that I recommend it.
