A very good Parka for a MOD Apr 06, 2010
By Maria A. Mendoza Well i ordered this Parka for my Boyfriend. He's been wanting one for a while and i got it as a gift for him. it arrived real quick only took about 5-6 days. If fits him very handsomely he loves it so much. I'd probably get him a black one later on in the future.

very warm, but runs tooooo big! Aug 14, 2011
By tonybittar While buying these kind of items, one is looking for both: utility and nice appearance. I bought a Medium- sized parka but looks like an XXL one. Nonetheless, it was very helpful when I arrived to Canada (and was delivered on time). Beware that the describing picture looks very well fitted, but in the real life this parka will make you look bulky. My features: 70kg, height: 1,71mtrs, chest: 73. I wish I would have gone for the Small size.

Suprised Jan 26, 2011

A winter coat with only two pockets - hand pockets on the front of the coat. That's the big suprise. And they are small, so you can barely fit two small gloves in them. I've never seen a winter coat with only two pockets before, and the military coat which "inspired" this coat has 6 or 7 pockets. So basically, during the time of year when you have gloves, hat, etc to carry, you can't fit them in your parka. And forget about securing your wallet, passport, etc in a zippered inside pocket - there aren't any. Otherwise, it's a light winter coat or even a light coat for fall (if you take the lining out). The picture of the "olive drab" coat is misleading - the color is exactly like that of a WWII-Vietnam era field jacket, more green than the photo.
Good for the money! Feb 12, 2012

An economical Parka. I had it out in sub-zero weather the other day and it did the job. It only has two pockets but they are large enough for what I need after all it's a Parka not a purse! lol
M-51 Fishtail Parka from Military Trail Gear Shop Jan 23, 2011
By Tim I walk many miles each week, mostly along the windy Jersey shoreline. It is very hard to find a LONG, as in around knee length, man's parka or coat that doesn't weigh a ton and cost $250.(this coat costs around $60.) Without a long coat on the brutally cold and windy days you feel like you are walking in your underwear! I love this coat...it's made for layering and breaks the wind. I gave my brother, who is more into the mountains, one for xmas, and he shares my praise. The only drawback I could note would be that the two pockets are on the small size, not large enough for a heavy pair of gloves.
