Quick review for an amazing guitar tuner. Jan 11, 2009
By Mark This product is great and simple. Turn it on, plug in in and start tuning. I just used it to tune the strings on my new Fender Telecaster. I was done and ready to play in no time at all. I love this tuner. To put it simply, if this tuner was ever lost or stolen, I'd want to replace it right away.

tuner stopped working for no reason after only 5 months of light use Mar 22, 2011
By flasque Tuner is easy to use and worked fine until 2 days ago when it stopped tuning. Appears to be the same problem as reported in the other reviews. Changed the battery, still nothing. The indicator light comes on, but doesn't move. Tried to switch it to bass mode, flat, etc, nothing worked, light is stuck. It is not a problem with my guitar amp jack as amp works fine when plugged in. I think it is what it is: a cheap tuner. Advice to first time buyers: put a little more money and get something better.
Great while it worked, but didn't last, Jan 13, 2012
By Christopher E Roach Loved it but after a few months, it locked up as others described. Meter light comes on but doesn't respond. I'm tossing it. Not worth money given the short life.
clever & compact design Aug 31, 2011
By Santoku, Mr. This is the only small plug-in tuner I've found - others either use a built-in microphone, need a patch cord, or are vibration-sensing clip-on style. I prefer direct plug-in like this. My only complaint is that the two arms that connect the jack to the body are a bit flimsy...I wouldn't be surprised if they were to break if I were to pull the tuner out of the guitar roughly. But so far so good - no problems and it tunes perfect. After 6 months the original battery is still working. I like that it uses bright LEDs rather than the more common LCD display.

By LVT06 Ditto on the unexplained breakdown: Yellow indicator light frozen; tuning indicators do not kick in; Battery was changed; And guitar jack worked fine with the amp.....Blah blah blah. This was great when it worked and for 30 bucks was no chintz tuner. I wish I'd read these review before I bought it.
