I bought this long underwear (top & bottom) for my son in the Army stationed in Iraq. In the winter it gets cold and even snows there. My son also flies in a helicopter which adds to his cold exposure. He asked me to get him the warmest white cotton underwear I could find. I bought this. My son said it did the job!

I am a heavy equipment operator so I am outside all the time. Even with temps in the teens I am comfortable with just a insulate vest over my clothes with this thermal shirt on. I have the pants to go along with these so the combination works great.

This is a wonderful top. Thick, soft, keeps you super warm, and it's well made.
Can't go wrong in my book.

I am slightly less satisfied with the product as its arm cuffs got loose within days. Warm enough for moderate winters. But you may get it for less at Burlington or Gabriel stores.

Nice fabric feel and well sewn. The proportions are excellent with a good long body, but seems to run a little small. I expect a fair amount of shrinkage with this type of fabric even if preshrunk. Instructions say wash in cold water, but really, who washes heavy duty underwear in cold water? I probably would been happier with 1 size larger. The price at $16 is good but not great unless I am surprised by a lack of shrinkage.
3 months later: Only slight shrinkage when washed warm, and gentle machine dried. Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars. I also like that is relatively long so keeps even my but warm.
I year later: Still fabulous- no additional shrinkage and wears like iron. By far the best thermal I have ever owned.
